Neil Armstrong's Death Draws Limited Television Coverage: "Hearing about Neil Armstrong was a sad moment as it brought back those grainy black and white images of that historic moment. Yes, there was little coverage in this news world of today when the birth of a baby from a no talent Snooki gained way too much devoted time on ABC Sunday morning than with Neil Armstrong. This is what we have today in a news cycle, impending hurricane, a Republican convention, Todd Akin's "legitimate rape", Snooki's baby, and Neil Armstrong. I sometimes wonder if he was more visible, where would we be in space? Thise grainy images of the surface of the move should have been brought to us in HD by now with subsequent landings and a base being established. Of course two wars cost a lot of money and peace time exploration is way on the back burner. Space wasn't a priority from the previous administration, just war and pumping up the cash flow of rich people. Imagine the jobs that could have been created in all fields and the level of education that could have been restarted all because of Neil Armstrong. But I'm a dreamer and we all know what dreamers wind up doing, thinking about the heavens. who knows, maybe that Star Trek vessel is not so much of a fantasy thanks to men like Neil Armstrong."
