Chris Wallace, Gretchen Carlson Spar Over Mitt Romney's Response To Libya Attack (VIDEO): "So in a nutshell when Chris Wallace said he wasn't going to debate the issue with Gretchen Carlson, he basically just dismissed her like a five year old school girl. It seems like her job is to prop up the Republican candidate not matter how unqualified Mitt Romney is. Those few Republicans who want to align themselves with Romney even after he placed his silver spoon foot in his mouth want to turn his crucial mistake into a re imagined rational argument. Carlson wants that re-imagined argument by trying to justify Romney's statement of what he should have said versus what he actually did and Chris made the point that he, Mitt Romney, called the press conference to discuss the memo. He not only buried himself with the rush to make himself look astute in foreign affairs, he piled on more dirt for himself by making it worse by taking a common sense approach to just wait a few hours. He needed to be ahead in the news cycle, he gambled and he lost. Now Gretchen wants to pretend it didn't happen and magically go back in time and spin the lies like Romney has been doing since the RNC. Sorry Charlie, his tuna is canned."
