Bob Woodward: There Were 'Gaps' In Obama's Leadership On Debt Ceiling Talks (VIDEO): "It's hard for Woodward to have a second act without Bernstein. Not having a "deep throat" doesn't quite have that classic film noir detective feel as it did during those Watergate days. Is he telling us anything we don't already know, of course not. It has been already reported that the deal fell through and Obama and Boehner went at each other in this 24/7 Internet reporting age. So why is Woodward rehashing old information? Is he trying to show that this dinosaur is still relevant to a tech savvy media populous? Some bloggers carry more weight than Woodward does these days. I was anticipating some major earth shattering reveal but by judging by the size of the HuffPost banner, it doesn't scream major scandal, it's just politics as usual."
