Katie Couric Will Co-Host 'Good Morning America' For A Week: "Calling Katie a "Giant Killer" is seriously baiting the lead. Katie's dismal performance as news anchor failed CBS tremendously to the point where no amount of delusional retelling and scapegoating personnel could save it. And when the obvious became true, she took off to new grounds at ABC, giving Barbara Walters and Diane Sawyers trepidation of this new "queen" invading their domains. Her appeal wasn't as deep as they thought and so putting her up against her old show is just more hype. Objectively, she's a more biased base reporter and there were too many moments where her bias bled through. Having a few million dollars a year salary doesn't make you a perfect all American girl next door prom queen reporter just a lucky one that's bought into the machinery of sustaining your over inflated ego that convinced yourself that you're that good but in truth, you're still batting around local weather girl statues mixed in with traffic girl."
