Joe Scarborough: GOP Donors 'Lied To By 'Conservative Media' (VIDEO): "Nobody forced the conservative GOP donors to wear blinders after buying into the idea that Mitt Romney was going to win the election. The fault doesn't rest squarely on the conservative media but what has been in existence in more prominence since the George W. Bush administration and that is simply pure sheer white male arrogance. This behavior has been the upending to many things that have gone wrong in this country. We went into depth based on lies. We had two wars based on lies. During Bush's second term when he said that the election gave him "political capital", that was the start of thew spiraling economy. He had the wrong vision and listened to the likes of Cheney who's only goal was to make money for his Halliburton/KBR cronies by promoting the Iraq/Afghanistan wars. Contracts were issued to them without any competitive bids. Fast forward to today and a gullible Super PAC wants to restore the country back to 1950's ideology while ignoring the fact that demographics have shifted. This was an election cycle for future classes to look back on and dissect where the culture wars shifted and the parties involved that ignored the writings on the wall."
