Chris Hayes Apologizes For Saying He Feels 'Uncomfortable' Calling Killed Soldiers 'Heroes' (VIDEO)

Chris Hayes Apologizes For Saying He Feels 'Uncomfortable' Calling Killed Soldiers 'Heroes' (VIDEO): "Unfortunately, Chris Hayes' point of view has been visited on men and women from a previous war, Vietnam, who returned to a nation ungrateful because the war was an unpopular one and the times for what they were, did not see these soldiers, who followed the command of their superiors, as heroes. What resulted was a generation of men and women feeling ostracized by their fellow Americans who saw them as war criminals that led to so many problems reentering society. So now Chris wants to repeat history by having these soldiers feel as if the job and duty they performed under the most severe condition doesn't reach the caliber of being called a hero while he sits comfortably in his air conditioned office, reporting his opinion based on his right to free speech fought by the very people who have died defending those rights so that the threat level of terrorism is kept at bay. Yes, Chris, I see no shrapnel coming your way, no roadside IUD, no rebel insurgents aiming at you under cover of darkness, no political agenda that uses you as a pawn during campaign speeches. So, Chris, heroes aren't cartoon characters in number one movie box offices, they are real flesh and blood citizens who volunteer to join the military so that you can spew out any dribble you feel fit. Sleep good on that temperpedic mattress while those soldiers find a nice patch of ground with no stones or snakes to bother them."
