Jon Stewart Shreds House GOP Over Sandy Vote: 'What Would Jesus Or Any Other Human Being That Isn't An A**hole Do' (VIDEO)
Jon Stewart Shreds House GOP Over Sandy Vote: 'What Would Jesus Or Any Other Human Being That Isn't An A**hole Do' (VIDEO):
Jon did verbally what the Republicans should have gotten physically and that was taking them to the woodshed and gave them a spanking. I live in hurricane alley and having gone through a few, looking for that relief from your government does alleviate some of the stress. People aren't looking for just a handout, they are looking for some assistance to get them back on their feet. Having gone through 23 days without power is a harsh reality as you watch food perish, your connections to the outside world disappear and sleep deprivation becomes the norm as you dread nightfall because you have no lights, no radio, no television. So the Boehner Bozo Club decides to call it a day before approving the bill figured they could just slip out quietly. Well, when Gov. Christie stomach started rumbling, it wasn't for three cheesecakes, it was his outrage that his own party bite their own hand. Christie probably thought for a second, am I a black man? Maybe he was right in not endorsing Romney.

Quentin Tarantino On Violence: 'It's Disrespectful' To Newtown Victims To Blame Hollywood Violence For Deaths
Quentin Tarantino On Violence: 'It's Disrespectful' To Newtown Victims To Blame Hollywood Violence For Deaths:
D.W. Griffith made a film called Birth of A Nation that depicts white people in black face acting lazy and stupid. It also showed the Klu Klux Klan as well. The real Klu Klux Klan were on their way out but this film reinvigorated that hate group. Do we dig up and excoriate him for stereotyping black Americans and causing a resurgence to the KKK? Film history has its winners and losers and film is a toss salad of all things good and evil. Do we keep quite when old science fiction show men going to the moon that inspired real scientist to achieve that goal? What about the technology on Star Trek? The IPad prototype was the brainchild of a creative Gene Roddenberry that became a reality thanks to Apple. But violence has been a part of American history since the Revolutionary War. Mel Gibson made a film about it and it showed graphic scenes as well. Where was the outrage for that piece of historical reenactment? Someone will always blame whatever industry for a crime, is it rap music, is football too violent, is sex too explicit when the industry pay Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton lots of money and reward them with TV shows. Just another day in the world of America.

Debt Ceiling Showdown: GOP Pledges To Extract Cuts From Obama
Debt Ceiling Showdown: GOP Pledges To Extract Cuts From Obama:
As I read this, I wonder if we just voted into office a bunch of 12 year old juveniles? If the GOP can't get their way then they are going to pout, act spoiled as if they didn't get what they wanted for Christmas while holding their breath. I saw news footage of everyday Americans reacting to the GOP behavior over the fiscal cliff and one gentleman clearly voiced the opinion of many and that is to fire the lot if they can't do the work the American people needs to get done and not play this game of brinkmanship with the President because that is still their goal to make Obama an ineffectual leader. The GOP seems to take a page from the South Korean government and short of physical blows, they would rather see a failed America versus a prosperous even though they state the contrary. History will mark the events of this Congress as being the most rancorous, mean spirited and reviled Congress by the American public in these most contemporary times. I say, let's pick one or maybe two GOP representative and have him/her removed by the people for abdicating their sworn oath of office to serve the American people and not the special interest lobbyist. They claimed they saw the light after this election but the light gets dimmer the further you get away from that moment. Let them curl in horror like vampires as the light starts to shine a bright message again.
