Katie Couric Delivers Commencement Address At University Of Virginia (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

Katie Couric Delivers Commencement Address At University Of Virginia (PHOTOS, VIDEO): "Wow, Katie Couric slams her poor showing at CBS because she didn't have "testicles". I find that assessment insulting to all men. She was paid $15 million a year, she chimes in about equal pay for women, she champions equality and when she fails at doing her job, she shifts the blame to something as pedestrian as this flippant comment. What about when she was caught plagiarizing materials? Was that a man's fault? You thought that perky thing would hold up after you left your comfort zone. People wanted you to read the news off that teleprompter like your counterparts. It isn't difficult and $15 million/yr for doing it should have been simple. Take responsibility for your work, that's all everyone saw, you doing your job and by looking at the ratings, the people didn't like what was being presented. Do you blame them, do you blame management or do you look in the mirror and say, "who's the fairest of them all?" Now you show up on ABC looking for that perky bubble again. If you can't find it, don't blame them."

Andre 3000's Jimi Hendrix Biopic: See The Rapper In Costume (PHOTO)

Andre 3000's Jimi Hendrix Biopic: See The Rapper In Costume (PHOTO): "This will be the second unauthorized biopic on Jimi Hendrix and the second covering only the three years Experience was created. Hendrix was more than just three years. The first one was a made for cable on Showtime and a media friend of mine gave me an advanced copy. It was bad and the same problem exist with this one as with that one and that is the estate didn't give permission to use the music that they control. They can't control his image but the music was legally fought to control. Hendrix did more in his life than just those three years and a lot of this film will just be filling in a small portion of a life that may nit satisfy the true die-hards of Hendrix. What about when he played with Little Richard, B.B. King and The Isley Brothers? What about his time in the military and how he broke his leg? what about his relationship with his mother and father and who gave him his first guitar? The first Showtime film was poorly developed and this may have the same pedigree if they can't expand more than just three years because the only thing Andre is doing is playing dress up."

Business Insider's Henry Blodget: 'Why Do Some People Hate Jews?'

Business Insider's Henry Blodget: 'Why Do Some People Hate Jews?': "I did a musical tribute to Natalie Portman http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DU8ziJANbjM and I was surprised by some of the comments left behind about her Jewish heritage. There were some who took offense with the tribute and let me know how they felt. I had to delete the post because they were extremely harsh and I found no justification for the hate filled comments. My only question is why?"

Chris Hayes Apologizes For Saying He Feels 'Uncomfortable' Calling Killed Soldiers 'Heroes' (VIDEO)

Chris Hayes Apologizes For Saying He Feels 'Uncomfortable' Calling Killed Soldiers 'Heroes' (VIDEO): "Unfortunately, Chris Hayes' point of view has been visited on men and women from a previous war, Vietnam, who returned to a nation ungrateful because the war was an unpopular one and the times for what they were, did not see these soldiers, who followed the command of their superiors, as heroes. What resulted was a generation of men and women feeling ostracized by their fellow Americans who saw them as war criminals that led to so many problems reentering society. So now Chris wants to repeat history by having these soldiers feel as if the job and duty they performed under the most severe condition doesn't reach the caliber of being called a hero while he sits comfortably in his air conditioned office, reporting his opinion based on his right to free speech fought by the very people who have died defending those rights so that the threat level of terrorism is kept at bay. Yes, Chris, I see no shrapnel coming your way, no roadside IUD, no rebel insurgents aiming at you under cover of darkness, no political agenda that uses you as a pawn during campaign speeches. So, Chris, heroes aren't cartoon characters in number one movie box offices, they are real flesh and blood citizens who volunteer to join the military so that you can spew out any dribble you feel fit. Sleep good on that temperpedic mattress while those soldiers find a nice patch of ground with no stones or snakes to bother them."

George Will: Donald Trump Is 'Bloviating Ignoramus'

George Will: Donald Trump Is 'Bloviating Ignoramus': "Oh George Will, you've just pricked the very thin skin of a motley fool who looks in the mirror and proclaims, "mirror mirror on the wall, who's always right who's hair makes him tall", it's me, it's me, The Donald. Yes, George, you've stirred the thin-skinned creatures who can't take a bit of criticism and when offended, lashes out so fast that it marvels with the same speed of a tweet. In Donald's eyes, everyone who doesn't follow his edict is stupid, untalented, a hack, a foul-up, a Democrat, a lackey for Ron Paul, or Bill Clinton's sloppy seconds. His ego won't let him see the truth, why would it, after all, he still thinks his apprentice show is number one and watched by millions of people. C-3PO said it best to R2-D2, Donald's suffering from delusions of grandeur."

Bristol Palin Admits Mistake In Blog Post On Abortion

Bristol Palin Admits Mistake In Blog Post On Abortion: "Well, since Bristol Palin is a 100% high school dropout, you can well be sure that she will have more inaccurate information to spew out in the course of time. The only thing that's baffling is why the media outlets are seeking out her opinions in the first place? What's next? Will Bristol be on Meet The Press? Surely she can handle the hard hitting questions on Syria, the Egyptian elections, the environmental issues surrounding fracking and oil conservation and the price of a sun dress at Walmart."

John Legend Says Demi Lovato And Britney Spears 'Aren't Really Singers' (VIDEO)

John Legend Says Demi Lovato And Britney Spears 'Aren't Really Singers' (VIDEO): "This is my first time hearing Demi sing and honestly, there isn't anything remarkable with her singing. She can sing but could you pick it out from any of those American Idol competitors? Lady Gaga has a distinct sound and she isn't that remarkable just overly hyped. And Britney has had her moments of lip-syncing disasters that's been well documented for those who want to take their blinders off. So, John Legend's assessment, critical and harsh to some, is an honest response to the question. Some may not like him for it but the truth is always a bitter pill to swallow. Some of these Disney packaged kid stars don't always have the pure talent that can sustain them when they transition into adult hood. that's why they act. Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, et, al, have their core following but musically, they haven't broken down any doors with their singing. The benchmark to reach right now is Adele."

Heather Walker, Memphis Mother, Banned From Facebook After Posting Photos Of Terminally Ill Son

Heather Walker, Memphis Mother, Banned From Facebook After Posting Photos Of Terminally Ill Son: "Facebook is valued at $104 billion dollars so that means they really have the power to censor their users. THEY ARE THE BIG BROTHER. They control the horizontal, they control the vertical, do not attempt to adjust your wi-fi connectivity settings, all hail the Zucker. The Zucker is all powerful and all knowing, The Zucker has destroyed his minions by theft, duplicity, and sheer hubris that has exceeded the norm and is now known as "Zubris", the ultimate in hubris. Mere mortals shall fear him if you oppose his will. Privacy policies be damned when you join the cult of social network personality. He laughs at your Google + while finishing off the remnants of MySpace with a nice Chianti. Odd that bullying is frowned upon with Facebook but it seems like it's okay to dish it out on a deceased newborn by beating up on the mother. See boys and girls how a few billion dollars can make you forget who got you started and the purpose of your network. I'm glad I never got corrupted by joining. But now the Zucker knows I'm not one of them. I'm I marked for a Borg-like "Assimilation"? We are the Zucker-Borg, We will Assimilate you."

Johnny Carson: Director Discusses 'King Of Late Night' (VIDEO)

Johnny Carson: Director Discusses 'King Of Late Night' (VIDEO): " watched the PBS American Masters series on Johnny Carson and did more than just solidify his mark in late night history but establish the framework to the comedy writing structure and standup routine that survives today. I was hoping that they would have played his college thesis on comedy, it would have been insightful for many would-be comics. I found myself surprisingly sad and tearful at the end when the end of his ;life was near. Even though I already knew it, I was sad still and I was surprised to see Drew Carey being tearful as he spoke of his first time on the show and Johnny called him over. It was also interesting seeing @GarryShandling also in tears as he spoke on hearing about JOhnny's death. He had come to the conclusion that they were friends and he didn't realize it until he sat on his deck looking over at Johnny's place. Johnny was King, still is and that will never be another one."

'LOL': Miley Cyrus Movie Bombs At Box Office

'LOL': Miley Cyrus Movie Bombs At Box Office: "Maybe she should wait a few years before embarking on these rom-com type movies that are unbearable to watch as her acting talents are tough to sit through. That one dimensional Hannah Montana years of acting really didn't challenge her skills and being in the Disney camp of child TV stars really wasn't demanding anything more other than showing up, spout out some poorly written line and wait for the canned laughter. In her rush to escape her Montana days maybe she should have spent a year with some acting coaches after seeing the trailer for LOL. This isn't the first time her acting has been panned and if she wants to continue in this craft, she needs to focus on either singing or acting. The backers of this film thought her Disney fans would follow her but after the disastrous Last Song outing, they must have reconsidered her box office draw as an actress. The French version appears to be the better version because the body of diversity of the actors prior work, especially Sophie Marceau. And since this version is a vehicle for Miley, she is the lead actress as the film revolves around her and that's where it falls apart. An interview with Letterman one night was tough to watch. She came off a little abrasive as if she already had the answers to life for someone who just turned 18, apparently her goal at 17 to rebrand her image by doing provocative or sensational things."

Emma Gray: 'Friends'' Monica Geller Was A 'Slut' And A 'Trollop,' According To NBC's Former West Coast President

Emma Gray: 'Friends'' Monica Geller Was A 'Slut' And A 'Trollop,' According To NBC's Former West Coast President: "Me and a buddy were discussing this show and our observation was not so much about the whorish women but the fact that the show made the guys into pansy wussies. Chandler was king, Ross the duke and Joey the court jester of wussy-dom. You had to assume that the ideal man in this female created show was that they were too feeling so sensitive borderline cross dressers. No real guy acts that way. The episode were Rachel was horny when her father was hospitalized and Ross in the position that he didn't want sex because it would make things complicated was unreal. Ross was duke of wussy. No real guy will ever turn down sex from an ex if there's a shot. You want to smack the guys from all of the estrogen this creator put into them. The most annoying part was the impeachable last season where Joey's in love with Rachel. The show started looking incestuous with the characters. I couldn't watch the first half and waited until the latent brain swelling went away. I refuse to watch it in syndication. It seems like the writers just gave up on coming up with ideas including the late showing of diversity and ignoring the Gabrielle Union story line while making a big deal out of Aisha Tyler. The last season was a money grab and should have ended the season before. Years from now will reveal that it wasn't great but it had it's moments."
